We advise clients on data protection across the region, so we hold ourselves to the same standard. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
Who we are

What we collect and why
Enquiries. When you use the contact form we collect your name, work email, phone, company, headcount band, country, role, the subject of your enquiry and your message, together with the page you arrived from and any campaign identifiers, so that we can respond and understand which channels bring us enquiries. Legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
LegalEyes. When you subscribe we collect your name, work email, company name and website, sector, headcount and ownership band, function, and your selected markets, topics and role. We use these to send the monthly brief you chose, to determine which items apply to you, and to understand which briefs and links are read, so we can improve the service. If you ask for a call, we use your details to arrange it. If you opt in to LexDesk360 updates and events, we send those separately; you can opt out of them without affecting your brief. We also keep a record of your consent: the date you gave it, the wording you agreed to and, where you confirm by email, the confirmation. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw with the unsubscribe link in any message.
Website. This site does not use advertising cookies. It may use privacy-respecting analytics and, where we run advertising campaigns, conversion measurement tags; where those require consent under applicable law we will ask for it.
Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the website, and send email, under contracts that restrict their use of it. They are Netlify (website hosting and form handling) and Brevo (email delivery and subscriber lists). We also share it with our network firms where you ask us to act on a matter in their jurisdiction. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Our hosting and email providers may process data outside the UAE, including in the European Union and the United States. We use providers with appropriate safeguards and, where a data protection regime requires a specific transfer mechanism, we put one in place.
Retention
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards. LegalEyes subscriber data is kept while you are subscribed and for a limited period after you unsubscribe, together with a record of your consent as the regimes we report on require.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
