Digital Compliance
Every business in the region is now a data business, and the rules are arriving faster than most compliance functions can absorb. We map the obligations that actually apply to you, prioritise them by enforcement risk, and build the documents and controls that satisfy them.
Markets: UAE · Saudi Arabia · Egypt · Qatar · Bahrain · Delivered through LexTend
The UAE Personal Data Protection Law, the DIFC and ADGM data protection regimes, Saudi Arabia’s PDPL and its transfer rules, and Egypt’s data protection law with its licensing regime each apply on their own terms, and a group operating across the region is typically subject to several at once. Layered on top are the cybercrime laws, electronic transactions and e-commerce rules, advertising and influencer-marketing standards, and the first generation of AI governance frameworks.
We do not deliver a policy binder. We deliver a gap assessment against the regimes that apply to you, a prioritised remediation plan, the records, notices, contracts and procedures that close the gaps, and training for the people who must operate them. For clients who need continuing coverage, LegalEyes tracks the changes as they happen. Businesses with an Egyptian operation can start with our free Egypt PDPL Readiness Check.

Questions clients ask
Straight answers first.
We operate in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Do we need three separate compliance programmes?
You need one programme with three overlays. Most controls (records, notices, security, contracts) satisfy all three regimes if designed together. The differences, such as Egypt’s licensing requirement and Saudi transfer rules, are handled as specific workstreams.
How quickly can a gap assessment be completed?
For a mid-sized business a focused assessment and prioritised plan typically takes a few weeks, depending on how quickly information is available. Remediation is then phased by risk.
