HR & Employment
People decisions carry legal consequences that HR software and PRO agents do not assess. We act as your outsourced head of employment legal, so that hiring, restructuring and exits are done in a way that survives a labour claim.
Markets: UAE · Saudi Arabia · Egypt · Qatar · Kuwait · Bahrain · Oman · Delivered through LexTend
The UAE labour law and its implementing regulations, the DIFC and ADGM employment laws, Saudi Arabia’s labour law and localisation rules, and Egypt’s new labour law each set different rules on contracts, working time, end-of-service, termination and nationalisation quotas. Penalties for getting localisation wrong are now material and are assessed per unfilled position.
We support in-house HR and general counsel with the documents and decisions that matter most: compliant contracts and handbooks, restructuring and redundancy programmes, disciplinary and grievance processes, senior exits, non-compete and confidentiality enforcement, and representation in labour disputes. Through LegalEyes, HR leaders receive a filtered brief of the changes that affect their workforce.

Questions clients ask
Straight answers first.
What does an outsourced employment counsel retainer cover?
A defined monthly allocation of counsel time for day-to-day questions, document review and decision support, plus fixed-fee pricing for larger projects such as restructurings or handbook rewrites. Clients get a named lawyer and a response-time commitment.
Can you help us prepare for an Emiratisation or Saudization assessment?
Yes. We audit current headcount against the applicable targets, identify exposure, and set out the options and their cost so leadership can decide before the assessment date rather than after the penalty notice.
Talk to counsel.
Tell us the decision you need to make. We will reduce it to the points that matter and give you a recommendation on each.
